Dear Students,
Welcome to Orot Israel College! As you begin this exciting new chapter, I would like to share a thought from this week’s Torah portion, Lech Lecha. Our sages teach us that “Go forth” means more than simply moving from one place to another. It is an invitation to embark on a journey of personal growth, spiritual development, and discovering your unique purpose. As you begin your studies, take this opportunity to reflect on the path ahead, the people you will become, and the meaningful contribution you can make to Israeli society.
At Orot, your education is about more than acquiring knowledge and professional skills. It is about nurturing your talents, strengthening your values, and discovering how you can inspire others through your work and example. Just as Abraham was called to go forth and share his faith with the world, you, too, have the opportunity to bring your own gifts and beliefs into everything you do. May your years at Orot be filled with learning, growth, meaningful friendships, and spiritual inspiration. May the Almighty bless you on your journey, and may His presence accompany you in all that you do. Welcome to Orot Israel College, and may you have a wonderful and successful year!
