Moshe Hasid launched the revolutionary “Or Hadash” system at Orot Israel College’ s Elkana and Rehovot campuses which helps teachers, lecturers and students build lesson plans in a more precise fashion using the guidance of experienced educators who can comment during the lesson programming process. It enables the development of the process of the lesson planning and incorporates the suggestions of the other teachers.
The lesson plan is presented within the system together with the pedagogic discussion that led to a particular lesson plan and the educational theoretical format.
According to Rabbi Dr. Moshe Rahimi, the Dean of Orot Israel College and Director of the school’s Masters Degree program who supported the initiative, " the system is part of a holistic support center that will serve the next generation of teachers, who need to understand the process and personal compatibility more than the “copy and paste style of ready-made lesson plans.”
